Welcome to
Counselling can often feel like a difficult step to take and you may be feeling overwhelmed, worried or confused at this time.
It is possible you may not be aware of what is bothering you at the moment but things don’t feel right. Alternatively, you may have specific reasons for wanting to begin counselling such as symptoms of anxiety, depression, loss, trauma or self-esteem issues you would like to address.
Whatever your reasons for counselling I understand it can take a huge amount of strength to reach out and I appreciate it can feel like a daunting prospect. I’m here to help you take your next step forward.
Hello! I’m Stacy
Counsellor & Psychotherapist
I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, trained at York St John University, with several years of experience working in a variety of settings. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work according to their ethical framework with clients age 16 years plus.
This unique space is tailored to you and I aim to support you in a non-judgemental way as I provide a compassionate safe space, where you can feel heard and understood, which can be deeply transforming. I see my role as being alongside you on this journey, where we work collaboratively to move forward and make positive changes in your life.
At times it may feel like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel, but I hold hope that there is and I can help you find it.
